Bassoon Forming Mandrel - Reeds 'n Stuff

Forming mandrels are a key tool for the reed making process. This forming mandrel is 2.3 mm wide at the tip and has a two-part progression towards the back to allow the reed to be gently opened from the inside. Ideal for smaller shapes and those who prefer reeds that are less round in the area of the first two wires.

The ergonomic wooden handle provides ease of use and is made of oiled beechwood.
