Danzi Shaped Oboe Cane

Shaped oboe cane by Danzi, sold in individual pieces. It's a balanced, versatile cane that is smooth to scrape and comfortable to work with, so it suits most players, from first-time reed makers to old hands.

Danzi cane comes from Italy and does not contain any chemical additives. It is manufactured entirely in the Danzi workshop, with a shape created by Ovidio Danzi.

What to expect

• Density: medium to medium high
• Hardness: medium to medium soft
• Colour: medium golden throughout
• Feel: smooth to scrape, balanced and easy to work with

These notes are general observations from the pieces we tested. Cane is a natural product, so individual pieces from the same brand can still vary.
