Why We Do What We Do

Each person’s journey to selecting a musical instrument is unique.

The instrument that we choose to play is an extension of ourselves. A form of self-expression not possible with our bodies alone. It’s a deeply personal relationship, strengthened over time with practice and persistence.  

However, not all instruments are created equal. The costs associated with playing a double reed instrument can be significantly higher than other woodwind instruments. Purchasing reeds is expensive, and the costs associated with reed making is unattainable for many, especially young people. 

At Reed Supplies Canada, we believe that no individual should feel held back in their musical goals because they lack the resources they need to succeed.
